The Power of Abstraction

14 November 2024

To accompany its most demanding collectors, an art gallery must position itself as a trusted partner and expert guide. That's why we are committed to offering a personalised service, tailored to refined and eclectic tastes, in response to the specific expectations of these discerning collectors.

Presenting exceptional artworks, the first exhibition with a focus on abstraction highlights paintings and sculptures of museum quality. It demonstrates a fine, global understanding of the art market, both in terms of rarity and importance of the pieces that are unveiled in our very first exhibition: “Abstraction Multiple”.

The bespoke accompaniment enables clients to enrich their art heritage while enjoying unique experiences based on passion, authenticity and exchange.

Offering wide perspectives on abstraction, this exhibition confronts styles and eras. From the pioneers of neo-impressionism to the defenders of lyrical abstraction in the post-war period, the lines collide, sometimes clean and geometric, sometimes intuitive, even brutal. Each composition underlines the desire to escape from codes and established practices, to explore unknown territories and experiment with new gestures. That approach resonates at the heart of this new Geneva gallery!

In this lively dialogue between vivid contrasts and deep hues, between light and shadow, between delicate lines and radical conception, work by Anselm Kiefer face the creations of Albert Marquet and Henri Edmond Cross. While Nicolas de Staël's composition has been shown in numerous retrospectives at the Centre Pompidou, the Musée d'Art Moderne in Paris and the Fondation de l'Hermitage in Lausanne, other works such as Victor Vasarely's painting “Syrom” are being unveiled to the public for the first time. Punctuated by sculptures by Salvador Dali and Diego Giacometti, this rich panorama celebrates abstraction in all its aspects.
